Bude Friends of the Earth Community Gardener

Description of role/ responsibilities:

• Assisting Group members with wildlife-friendly community gardening in Bude – mainly in the Neetside area or nearby

Skills and/ or experience required:

• None

Hours/ Days anticipated (occasional or regular):

• Weekly 10.30 to 12.30 on Thursday mornings (weather permitting) and occasional weekends.

Any other information:

• Volunteers should bring gardening gloves and a snack.  Many volunteers bring their own weeding tools but that is not essential, as the group has spare tools that volunteers can use.
• One of the co-ordinators is happy to meet prospective volunteers before they come to a session, to introduce themselves and explain what is involved.
