Callington Youth Project

We are a new group set up to provide some provision for those youths who tend to shun organised youth activities, and who might otherwise roam the streets.

We have established a core committee and have some initial funding. We welcome those who are genuinely interested in helping us with our aims. In the short term we will offer opportunities for our young people to experience other youth provision in the region.

In due course we will need help setting up a permanent youth club in Callington and will require volunteers with the ability to help with:

• Light building works
• Electrics
• Painting and decorating
• General assistance
• Website development
• Youth supervision*

* All volunteers working with young people will need some training and induction, as well as DBS clearance.
