Camborne, Pool & Redruth Foodbank

Do you have some time to spare to help people in need in your community?

We are looking for some more volunteers to join our wonderful team at the CPR Foodbank.

We are looking for volunteers for:

• Monday mornings in the warehouse.
• Tuesday afternoons at the food bank in Camborne.
• Various days providing refreshments and a friendly face.

We have 2 Foodbanks currently running across the CPR area. We average 400 families a month providing 14,000-16,000 meals. Our system provides clients with 8 vouchers in 6 months plus extra support if the agency requests it. The voucher system is accessed by 125 professional agents in the area ranging from schools, GP surgeries, housing services, homeless services and crisis agencies.

The following sessions are currently available for clients to collect food:

• St Andrews Church, Redruth: Mondays 10.00-12.00 
• Centenary Chapel, Camborne: Tuesdays 1.30-3.30, Wednesdays 5.30-6.30, Thursdays 10-12.00, Fridays 10.30-12.00
