Are you a kind and caring person? Would you be interested in becoming a befriender?
We are delighted on becoming the first football club in the UK to become a Compassionate Organisation, as certified by Compassionate Communities UK, celebrating our work in compassion.
Wadebridge Town FC is a true family club based at Bodieve Park in Wadebridge, Cornwall running football for kids, youth and adults for both males and females and our elite 1st team play in the South West Peninsula League.
We are looking for volunteers to join us as community befrienders.
- Engaging with members of the community who maybe lonely or isolated in their homes or in a public setting e.g. café.
