Community Focused Not-for-Profit Seeking Volunteer with Finance Experience

Imagine If Partnership is a small not-for-profit CLG, looking for a volunteer with experience in accounting who’s wants to give back to their community. Imagine If aims to support people and communities to better manage mental health difficulties, reduce isolation and increase a sense of belonging, helping them develop skills and connections that make them feel empowered. We currently support communities across Cornwall, as well as in Devon and London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and caring organisation. We are looking for an individual with experience in finance and accounting to support our team to improve the efficiency of our accounting process. The right individual would be able to commit between 2 and 3 hours per week, mostly on a remote basis. We are mindful that you have many commitments, so work can be undertaken at a time to suit you. You will have:

• The ability to keep accurate records and confidence in handling finances.
• Experience of setting and managing budgets.
• Experience in financial software and/or Excel spread sheets.
• Experience of forward planning income and expenditure.
• Access to a computer and the internet at home.
• Meet with our director monthly.
• Happy carrying out tasks independently and as part of a team.
