Role description

We are looking for a volunteer to join our Quality Working Group. This person will have lived experience of mental ill-health which will help inform our discussions and our decisions.

Our Quality Working Group is a platform for dialogue on issues that involve the quality of our ways of operating. It helps us to reach our objectives effectively and plays a vital role in making sure that Cornwall Mind achieves its core purpose in the very best way that we can. The Quality Working Group often works on projects, collecting information and advising on the outcomes.

What are we looking for?

We are a small, strong and welcoming team who are looking for someone to join our group who will bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the Lived Experience role and who will broaden the diversity of our thinking. You will be able to use your own experience to inform Board and Quality Working Group decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your governance skills and make meaningful improvements for the people of Cornwall.

Time commitment

The Quality Working Group meets every 6-8 weeks and can be online or face to face.
