Role description

Do you enjoy performing and public speaking? Are you passionate about engaging families, children and young people in nature and heritage? Do you believe in ensuring all younger generations feel welcome and included? Volunteer to help inspiring the National Trust’s supporters of the future at our mining sites, East Pool Mine and Levant Mine. 

What’s involved?

  • Supporting or leading a variety of activities and projects with or for children & young people such as family events, family and youth volunteering, school engagement and careers engagement.
  • Volunteering with partners and community groups who engage children & young people, such as Duke of Edinburgh, Scouts/Guides and youth clubs.
  • Championing the National Trust’s core aims of conserving nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever. 
  • Being a friendly face and ambassador for the National Trust.
