Role description

We are the leading refugee charity in Cornwall. Originally a Community Sponsorship charity who have successfully resettled families in the area, we also now support the wider refugee community.

Two important new roles have recently come up - please contact us for more details.

Secretary
No previous experience is needed. This role is not about taking minutes, but about supporting good governance, such as risk management and Charity Commission requirements. All skills can be easily learned, and full support during the handover period will be provided.

 

Treasurer
Some accounting or bookkeeping experience is required. The role involves ensuring payments and income are logged our accounting software, reconciling the bank and providing financial updates to the Board six times a year. A full handover will be given.
