Lostwithiel Museum - Volunteers

We need more volunteers, especially during our Spring to Autumn Open season.

About the Museum

• A Small independent Museum established in 1971

• Managed and run entirely by volunteers

• Registered with the Charity Commission

• Fully accredited by the Arts Council

• Free Admission

• Income entirely from donations, museum membership, town heritage walks and occasional grants

• A major heritage attraction for the town of Lostwithiel

• Aiming to be one of the best medieval and local social history collections

We need

• Museum Stewards to greet and help visitors

• Guides to conduct Town Walks

• Help with Fundraising

• Help with projects and "one-off" events

What's in it for you?

• Volunteering is about working with the Museum team, meeting people, taking part, being involved, sharing and developing your existing skills and knowledge.

• If you have time to spare and are interested in getting involved we would like to hear from you.

• We will provide any training required.
