Community Speed Watch Volunteers

We are a small team of local community speed watch volunteers operating in Lostwithiel.

The Community Speed Watch scheme works with the police, using approved equipment in agreed locations to monitor speed. Our volunteers log the details which are then passed to the police.  It is the police who decide on what action is appropriate, whether it's a letter or further action.

Together with the town council, and your help the Community Speed Watch scheme aims to make our community safer by reducing vehicle speed.

Volunteers are a vital part of the process of keeping our streets safe.
