Role description

Cornwall Mind are in need of some more volunteers to help with their Hope Walks.

Hope Walks are walking groups for people bereaved by suicide and our meetings give people the opportunity to walk and talk in the natural environment with others with a shared experience.

We need volunteers to support the walkers and ensure that everyone who attends feels comfortable and welcome.

The walks take place every week, we use Trelissick, Lanhydrock, Helston and Crantock as venues.

Hope Walks have been taking place for a year now and in that time, participants have said that the meetings have helped them adjust to their loss and talk about their emotions.
