Chefs Wanted at Truro Nourish Hub

The Truro Nourish Hub are looking for any chefs or cooks who may have retired or have some spare time that would be interested in sharing their skills to support a local community-based project.

Truro Nourish Hub is a CIC, that was established to empower and enable people to learn cooking skills, the benefits of this project are to create a  healthy community, meet the increasing demands of the cost of living crisis, connect people who may feel Isolated and lonely and signpost people to other organization that they may require. The service we are offering is free, and it is inclusive to anyone.

• We are looking for qualified chefs or individuals with experience with food.
• We would like to have volunteers who can help prepare food and serve our client base.
• We also require assistance in clearing up after our events.

Experience would be an advantage, but for the more general tasks, training would be provided.

We are happy to pay for any travel costs, within reason.
