General Volunteers

Would you like to help support a unique piece of Cornwall's heritage? Tolgus Tin Mill, on the Cornwall Gold Site, near Redruth, has a new group dedicated to helping with the preservation and restoration of the remains of the mill. We are looking for individuals aged 18+ of any skill ability to join us in this exciting and ambitious project. 

Roles include anything from basic DIY (painting and repairing) to skills with engines and machinery. From answering questions from visitors to leading guided tours. From maintaining displays to curating new ones and researching the history of the mill.

Whatever time you have to spare, and whatever skills you have to offer, we can put them to good use as part of this small but growing team of Friends. You dont need any knowledge of mining or milling and you can volunteer as much or as little as you like.
