Flower Guild volunteer

As a Cathedral Flower Guild volunteer you will offer time to enhance the beauty of worship of the Cathedral by the use of arranged flowers and foliage.  Flexible shifts are available to undertake duties such as watering, conditioning and foliage collection along with arrangements for special services and events taking place in the cathedral.  

If you have time and an interest in flower arranging then this could be the volunteer position for you! A basic knowledge of flower arranging is useful but not essential as training will be given.  You must be able to work as part of a team and able to use your initiative. An understanding of the purpose of the cathedral as a place of worship, and an ability to relate to occasional members of the public in a pleasant and welcoming way is essential.
