Role description

Do you have lived experience of Cancer and are looking for a way to help others?

Do you want to find community and offer reassurance to those living with Cancer?

We are looking for a caring and compassionate volunteers to support us as we launch a new MacMillan group at the Edward Hain Centre to support those living with Cancer. The group will be running on a monthly basis (second Tuesday of the month) from the 11th February 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Duties will include welcoming people to the group, making them feel comfortable, listening, making tea/coffee and helping the group to reach more people.

Training opportunities may be available through MacMillan for anyone interested in developing their skills.
