Shop & Market Volunteers - full training provided

Farm Shop & Farmers' Market Stalls (voluntary role)

We are looking for weekly shop volunteers on Thursdays, Fridays 10am-1pm & 2pm-5pm (can be a whole day or split into am and pm shifts) and Saturday afternoons.
We would also welcome experienced people who can provide occasional cover for our dedicated Farmers' Market stall holders in Sennen (Tues am) and St Just (Sat am).
All proceeds from the sale of produce are reinvested into our charitable aims. 

Must be clean, reliable, responsible, trustworthy and able to work independently. Full training will be given. This can be a great way to gain experience of customer service and till-work for anyone just starting out, but it can also suit a more experienced, sociable person with good PR / front-of-house skills. Our shop and markets team are the face of the farm, welcoming new and existing customers, visitors and volunteers alike. We have a whatsapp group and we hold farm events throughout the year to maintain our sense of community. Our volunteers come back time and time again because of the good community spirit here. 

These retail roles do require some training, so a weekly or fortnightly commitment is preferred. For more casual 'drop-in' opportunities, check out our horticulture activities on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Free nutritious, cooked vegetarian lunches are provided for volunteers who volunteer 4 hrs+ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We may have bursaries available for local volunteers to help with travel costs and PPE - please get in touch if needed.
