Role description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fulfil the role of a Wellbeing volunteer within Devon and Cornwall Police. The ideal candidate will hold a current recognised qualification in the Wellbeing specialism they will be offering. The aim of this volunteering position will be to deliver a diverse range of workshops and activities designed to improve the overall wellbeing of Devon and Cornwall Police. This could cover a range of disciplines including, but not limited to physical instruction, fitness, lifestyle choices and lifeguarding.

 

The role of the Wellbeing Volunteer will be able to support delivery in one or more of the following areas.

• To be a practising/qualified fitness enthusiast with a keen interest in health and wellbeing

• To have the ability and experience to engage with and motivate others to lead a healthier lifestyle

• To run Fitness/Exercise sessions

• To run Mindfulness & Relaxation

• To provide Nutrition & Dietary advice  

• To assist with Overall Wellbeing
