Role description

Children's Help us turn pre-loved treasures into expert care and tailor-made support

Become a volunteer today

Children’s Hospice South West charity shops play a key role in raising money to fund care and support for babies, children, young people and their families, who are impacted by a life-limiting condition. Every year, we care for more than 500 families.

Our volunteers help us run more than 40 charity shops across the region. Each shop is part of the community. We make friends, we build relationships, and together we create a positive shopping and donation experience for our visitors and supporters.

Why volunteer with us?

  • Join a friendly and supportive team
  • Make a real difference to hundreds of babies, children, young people, and their families every day
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed
  • Refreshments available
  • Volunteering certificates, references, and long service awards
  • Opportunity to gain valuable retail experience
  • Open days and tours at Little Bridge House, Charlton Farm and Little Harbour so you can meet other teams.
