Why this role? Although we’ve built a committed group of local volunteers, we haven’t been able to support this activity properly and we want this to change. We now want to grow our volunteer programme so that more people can benefit from being part of our growing community. We are looking for someone who can help welcome, support and coordinate volunteers, making sure their experience is positive, rewarding and well-organised.

  • What you’ll gain
o Experience in community coordination and project management
o On-the-job training and mentoring from Nourish Kernow CIC

Organisation Information

Nourish Kernow CIC is a non-profit regenerative market garden in Camelford, North Cornwall. Through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model and care farming activities, together we grow wholesome local food that nourishes both body and soul.

Offering people a chance to engage with, enjoy and learn about regenerative agriculture – from those seeking practical experience or time outdoors in nature to boost mental wellbeing, to others passionate about sustainable living and just enjoying local seasonal food.

We do this by producing locally-grown veg boxes to our members and offering hands-on volunteer experiences, educational opportunities and care farm activities centred around getting outside and growing together – enjoying tasty veg in the process!
