Role description

Penhaligon’s Friends, the Cornish Children’s Bereavement Charity are hosting a FREE training event for people wanting to find out more about Penhaligon’s Friends and explore the possibility of volunteering with them. 

The half day training takes place at their offices in Redruth on Wednesday 21st January 2026 between 10.00am- 1:00pm. The event is a great introduction to the charity and gives an overview of their services and impact, with an insight into volunteering roles and options for getting involved with fundraising, supporting community events or helping support families directly.

Penhaligon’s Friends is a Cornish charity supporting bereaved children, young people, parents, and carers throughout the county. 

We offer children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources to help them cope with their grief.
