Scout Shop Team Member
The Mid Cornwall District Scout Shop is based in the heart of our District and provides a face-to-face and online shop, for anyone to purchase uniform and badges. The Scout Shop is looking for new volunteers to come onboard and support the shop grow.
The Mid Cornwall District Scout Shop team are looking to expand, if you have any of the skills below we would really love to hear from you. The aim of the Scout Shop is to provide income into our District Support Fund, which is a fund that directly helps our young people and adult volunteers access activities which provide them Skills4Life.
- Stock Management
- Point of Sale (either face-to-face or through WooCommerce/Wordpress/Zettle)
- Retail Management
- Publicity / Social Media
If you are willing to support by opening and running the shop for a couple of hours every so often, we would also be keen to have a discussion.
Mid Cornwall District is at the heart of Cornish Scouting. Stretching from the rugged North Cornwall coast, where Newquay boasts some of the most amazing coastline views, across to the South Cornwall coast and St Austell’s China Clay pits steeped in history. Our leaders pride themselves on running a fun and adventurous activities to support and develop our young people.
