Role description

Are you passionate about supporting your local community? Food for Families Penzance CIC is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Director to join our amazing team.

As a Volunteer Director, you will help oversee and support our volunteer programme, ensuring a safe, supportive and rewarding experience for both volunteers and the people we serve. You will lead on safeguarding, compliance and risk management, helping to maintain the highest standards of care and safety.

 

Organisation Information

🌻Experience and Knowledge Required🌻
We are looking for someone with experience in:
✅ Managing volunteer and client risk assessments
✅ Background checks and safeguarding protocols
✅ Knowledge of legal guidance and health and safety regulations
Qualifications in Food Hygiene, First Aid, or other relevant areas would be desirable, but not essential.

✅Training and Support
Full progression of training and ongoing support will be available for the right candidate

✅ Our goal at FFF is to help others in need   with a emergency food parcel.  When times are tough. No referrals needed for our organization. We help people who work and who are on benefits and are welcome to walk through our front door.
