Admin Volunteer

Help keep things running behind the scenes

This role is about keeping things organised and flowing. It suits someone who enjoys working through tasks, learning new systems, and contributing in a steady, practical way.

You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of intoBodmin — from keeping information up to date to helping different parts of the organisation stay connected and on track.

On a typical session you might:

• manage emails and respond to room booking enquiries
• update spreadsheets, documents and records
• keep event information and listings up to date
• maintain databases and contact lists
• support coordination of volunteers and activities
• support work linked to fundraising and wider projects 

Tasks can vary depending on what we have coming up, and there’s always something to be getting on with.

You don’t need formal experience, but you do need to be organised, confident using a computer, and comfortable learning new software. You’ll be shown how things work, then trusted to work through tasks independently, with support from the Business Support Coordinator.

Sessions take place during the day and could be from as little as 2 hours. This role works best for someone who can commit consistently and become part of the ongoing rhythm of the team. A little bit of time can make a big difference.

It’s a varied role where you can build useful skills, gain confidence, and play a practical part in keeping things running smoothly.
