Drivers & Minibus Drivers
About the Role
As a volunteer driver, you will play a key role in helping residents attend AA/NA meetings, appointments, and occasional trips out. Safe, consistent transport enables individuals to stay connected, build routine, and engage fully in their recovery journey.
What You’ll Do
- Drive residents to and from AA/NA meetings, support groups, and local activities
- Assist with occasional group outings and therapeutic trips
- Provide a calm, respectful, and supportive presence during journeys
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all passengers at all times
- Work alongside staff to ensure schedules run smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- A full, clean UK driving licence (category D1 required for minibus drivers)
- Confident, safe and responsible drivers
- Friendly, patient, and non-judgemental individuals
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Reliability and punctuality

We are a registered charity providing drug and alcohol detoxification and rehabilitation services. We are based in 22 acres of beautiful grounds near Hayle and offer a therapeutic environment to support individuals in recovery.
