Role description

Volunteer

Put your passion for animals to work

Each year, around 300 volunteers help us continue to do the work we do.

We have volunteers who help us with dog walking, cat socialisation, and more animal care tasks, but there are plenty of other ways to volunteer for NAWT too.

For example, we have two cafes and three shops that need volunteers to help run. If you have green fingers or are good with tools, you could come and do some gardening, or help with small maintenance projects at one of our five rehoming centres.

We are always on the lookout for people to help fundraise for us, which can be anything from manning a stall at an event, to crafting items or baking cakes that can be sold at these events. Or maybe you have some creative or business skills that could be useful to us such as photography; even if you can only spare an hour of your time a week, you will be making a massive difference to our work.

If you're interested in volunteering with NAWT, please contact your nearest rehoming centre or Head Office to find out current vacancies and discuss how you can help us.

If you want to know more about what it’s like volunteering at the NAWT then read our case studies.
