Role description

Devon and Cornwall Police are looking for volunteers to help support the Volunteer Police Cadet (VPC) groups who volunteer within their local communities, attending various events throughout the year and helping with the smooth running of weekly sessions at their local police station.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their personal qualities and skills within their community and learn, alongside our Police Cadets, how Devon and Cornwall Police operate. It is a great chance to help give back to your local community by helping shape the understanding of today’s youth by supporting recruitment of Volunteer Police Cadets (VPCs), support the delivery of awareness sessions to help cadets learn legislation and policies, attend events to promote positive community engagement and inspire young people to become good citizens and build their confidence as they become young adults.
