Role description

Botallack Gardens and Campsite is a 2-acre farm situated beside the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Coastline.

Over the last 30 years, we have lovingly transformed a disused former mine tip Into a characterful and charming farm.

Since 2020 our ambitions have been to create an organic kitchen garden, public Italianate gardens and a thriving eco campsite.

We are seeking enthusiastic hands-on volunteers who share a passion for sustainability and gardening along with a willingness to learn new skills whilst helping to build our eco campsite

So if you would like to join our friendly team and lend a hand and play a part in building a wonderful space for community and sustainability right by the coast get in touch!

Duties will include

Creation of an organic kitchen garden
Construction of greenhouses and raised veg beds
Garden design and build

Construction of eco our campsite 

Planting of hedging plants along with various species of plants in the new gardens.
General grounds maintenance and tidying.

Requirements:
Suitable outdoor clothing such as a water or shower-proof jacket and trousers
Boots or wellies
