Reception Volunteers
We’re looking for a friendly and confident receptionists to cover our busy reception desk on a Friday morning and to cover for holidays and sicknesses.
The role will involve offering a warm welcome to our clients and visitors and ensuring they that their experience in the Centre is a positive one. This is a very social role so if you have a friendly and bubbly personality and enjoy meeting new people this could be the role for you.
What does a Reception Volunteer do
- An important first point of contact. The face of the Centre, ready to represent us well. You are the first good impression that clients receive and that’s why we recognise the huge value of you as a receptionist
- Welcoming clients and visitors and connecting them with the appropriate member of staff or one of the clinical practitioners who regularly hold clinics in our Centre.
- IT skills would be an advantage but training will be provided on our software.
- Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls as well as taking messages when appropriate
- Accepting and recording cash and card payments for our therapies and retail merchandise

Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, located in Mid-Cornwall supports adults, young people and children living with long-term neurological conditions and/or neuro diversities to access specialist therapies, support, and information in a safe, supportive environment to help them improve their physical and mental well-being.
