Sound & Lighting operator (theatre)

A reliable sound and lighting technician, previous experience preferred, is needed to help the St Austell Arts Centre stage a wide variety of live events: music, theatre, comedy, drama and film, both amateur and professional, at the St Austell Arts Centre's 140 seat theatre.

This would involve setting and operating lights and sound for shows, general maintenance of equipment and liasing with hirers and performers.

This position would suit someone with an interest and/or experience in the technical side of theatre.  Ideally, you would need to be flexible with your time, a problem-solver, calm under stress and to be polite and respectful with performers, public and other volunteers.
