Thursday Harvesting (no experience needed)

Arrive at 9:50am ready for a 10am start, finishing at 3pm

Picking salads, fruit and veg in our Community Market Garden ready for our Veg Box deliveries as part of a friendly & inclusive, busy team. This is a great way to get some work experience for your CV and its a good way to stay active and fit with gentle exercise. No prior experience needed, full training will be given. Our half hour morning tea-break at 11am and our cooked communal lunch from 1-2pm provide ample opportunity to connect with like-minded people from all walks of life both locally and from elsewhere in the world! Under 18s will need to either come with an adult or contact us in advance to discuss a suitable placement with the necessary parental consents and travel arrangements. Over 18s please get in touch or just turn up at 9:50am ready for a 10am start for a no-commitment trial session.

Please bring along sturdy shoes (walking boots or wellies), weather appropriate hat / layers, keeping arms and legs covered, plus waterproofs just in case! 
We have spare supplies of waterproofs and wellies on site but sizes can be limited.

We may have bursaries available for local volunteers to help with travel costs and PPE - please get in touch if needed.
