Treasurer for Endelienta Arts Board of Directors

Endelienta Arts is looking for a new Treasurer for its Board of Directors to oversee the finances of this lively and successful charitable company.

Now approaching its 11th birthday, Endelienta Arts has been successful in establishing a thriving year-round arts programme at St Endellion and in North Cornwall. Now that the programme is largely restored post Covid, the new Treasurer will work with the artistic director / general manager and the treasurer of the North Cornwall Book Festival to sustain the high quality of its programme and reach new audiences.

Endelienta Arts involves many interlocking partnerships; the Treasurer will need to liaise with the treasurers of its sister charities, the St Endellion Festivals Trust and the St Endellion Parochial Church Council.

Endelienta Arts supports Cornish writers, musicians, and visual artists. At the same time, it looks outwards to bring performers from further afield to enrich the local culture and to experience the special qualities of St Endellion as a place. Ideally, its Treasurer needs to live in Cornwall; if not, they need to be close enough to be able to be visible to the Endelienta Arts community and to experience first-hand the quality of its events.

This is a voluntary, unpaid, role. The Treasurer should be prepared to serve for a period of four years, renewable for a further four years, involving usually 4 full board meetings per year.
