VHS to Digital Conversion Technician

The purpose of this ole is to convert the cathedral's several hundred VHS recordings to digital files to ensure cathedral footage and memories are preserved.  The postholder will require their own equipment.

Duties:

Conversion of VHS tape recordings to digital files.

To participate in training and policy review as required including matters of health and safety.

Skills & knowledge

A knowledge of the conversion process and how to ensure the best possible quality of footage is maintained.

Experience of working with conversion equipment.

Training will be arranged including safeguarding, health & safety and security.
