Volunteer peer support

We are looking for women to join our vibrant community at Chy at the Village, Georgia's voice hub space in Redruth to make a tangible difference in the lives of young women aged 18-25.

*About Our Drop-in Sessions*

Our drop-in sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental space for young women to:

- Share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences

- Access support, guidance, and resources

- Connect with peers and build meaningful relationships

*Volunteer Roles*

We're seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help facilitate our drop-in sessions:

- *Listening Ear*: Offer empathetic listening and support to young women

- *Helping Hand*: Assist with refreshments, setup, and general administration

- *Activity Leader*: Lead creative activities, workshops, or discussions on topics relevant to young women

*Requirements*

- Passion for supporting young women's well-being and empowerment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per month for at least 12 months

- Willing to have a DBS check and take part in a training programme to support you in your role
